workshops

Workshop Instructors are given complimentary tickets to the festival the day of the workshop.

Celebrate, teach, learn, grow, and play with us at WorldFest Workshops 2022.

Join us in many locations throughout the festival for an eclectic range of WorldFest Workshops.

Choose from yoga classes, meditation sessions, artist-led playshops, drum workshops (Middle Eastern Rhythms, Steel Drums, Brazilian Drumming to name a few!), dance/movement offerings (from Partner Dance 101 to Tribal Belly Dance) and many more!

WorldFest Workshops will take you on a journey around the world and back again to the heart of Northern California–Gold Country!

These workshops add to the WorldFest experience by engaging participants in hands-on learning, playing and practicing. In most workshops the leaders provide instruments or props, and you are always welcome to bring your own!

Workshops before 9am are available for camping patrons only.

buskers

Buskers get free admission to WorldFest on the day(s) you play in exchange for 2-3 of sets of music.

Be part of the performance at WorldFest 2022!

Busking is a great way to welcome people into the festival and share your music.

WorldFest Buskers are a diverse group of performers: solo artists playing original songs, duos and quartets playing jazz and Americana classics, the occasional A cappella sing-along, jammin DJs and much more! You’ll find Buskers at the Gate 1 main festival entrance and just across the way from the WorldFest Music Marketplace. Sets start at both locations on the hour and usually last 45-50 minutes. Tipping and smiles are always welcome, but not required.

Times range between 10AM to 5PM and we’re looking for solo, duo, trio or a quartet size acts.

Note: we’re not able to accommodate full electric band style acts, think more semi-acoustic as would be the case with a street busking scene.

The application deadline for 2022 has passed.
