WorldFest Buskers

This street-style, informal performance is a wonderful way to share your craft and create a welcoming environment at the festival! Buskers are scheduled at the entrance to the festival on the Welcome Stage and are the first musical performance that patrons get to interact with upon arriving at the festival.

 

Busker applications  are closed for 2023. Please check back and apply for next year! 

ABOUT BUSKING AT WORLDFEST

Guidelines:

  • Acts must be solo to quartet in size (no larger)
  • Acoustic or semi-acoustic sound(battery-powered amps only, no full bands or PA systems).
  • Must be able to provide a recorded example of performance (audio and/or video).

Perks:

  • Buskers get free admission to WorldFest on the day(s) of the performance.
  • Ability to busk up to 4 times during the festival. 
  • Ability to collect tips while busking.
  • Ability to sell any CDs or merchandise in the WorldFest Marketplace. Please note that WorldFest will take 20% of sales.
